Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort underwent extensive renovations in the winter of 2010. New ownership recognized the unique beauty of this special property and was committed to restoring it to its full potential as a destination RV resort.
We invite you to experience the peaceful presence of Santa Cruz’s towering redwoods and the soothing sounds of the San Lorenzo River—all while being just minutes from downtown Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort offers a beautiful, clean, and safe environment for the entire family.
Our large recreation room overlooks the San Lorenzo River and features expansive decks where guests can relax, enjoy the view, and socialize with friends, family, or new acquaintances. For those who enjoy grilling, two natural gas BBQ grills are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Inside, guests will find comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, a cozy fireplace, and plenty of options for entertainment, including pool, foosball, card games, or simply relaxing with a good book.
Located among the redwood forests
The Santa Cruz Mountains enjoy a Mediterranean-style climate typical of much of California, with most annual precipitation occurring between November and April. Nestled among the redwood forests, the area experiences mild weather year-round, with average daytime temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s in summer, mid-50s in winter, and mid-60s in spring.
SANTA CRUZ TIDBITS
The Santa Cruz Mountains have been a legally defined American Viticultural Area (AVA) since 1981 and have emerged as a premier wine-producing region. The area gained international recognition during the historic Judgment of Paris on May 26, 1976.
The historic Old Almaden Winery was once located on the eastern slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains. In addition, famed film director Alfred Hitchcock and his wife, Alma, maintained their primary residence nearby in Scotts Valley at the Cornwall Ranch, which they purchased in September 1940.
