FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Are we OPEN? YES! We are open! We are welcoming guests to come visit and experience a safe and relaxing outdoor vacation. 
  • Check-In Time: 1 PM (Fees apply if guests check-in before this time)
  • Check-Out Time: 11 AM (Fees apply if guests check-out after this time)
  • How do we check availability? Guests can now check availability and reserve online through our website. Click any of the Book Now icons throughout our website to be taken to our reservations portal OR click here to BOOK NOW
  • Do we maintain a waitlist? No. The quickest and easiest way for guests to check for cancellations is to bookmark our BOOK NOW page in your web browser and check your dates on a regular basis to see if any sites have become available. 
  • How far in advance can we book? One year in advance. Guests should keep in mind, now that reservations can be made 24-7, reserving a site(s) has become more competitive. We encourage guests to book ASAP especially if they are wanting to reserve a specific site. 
  • Do all of our sites have FHU? Yes. All of our sites have full hook up utilities with the exception of one site (#30).
  • What does FHU include? Water, Electricity, Sewer.  WiFi and Cable are a complimentary service, do not rely on for school/work/job.
  • What does WEO mean? Water and Electric Only. Site #30 is the only site in our park without full hookups, you may dump in any empty site upon departure.
  • What is the difference between Super & Standard sites? Size, location, amps. See park map for individual specs of each site. Click here for Park Map
  • What size RVs do we accommodate? All sizes. Our sites range from 15ft. – 75ft. See park map for individual specs of each site. Click here for Park Map
  • Do we have Wi-Fi? Yes. Please keep in mind this is a complimentary service we offer to our guests. We can not guarantee the Wi-Fi for school/job/work related purposes. We encourage guests to bring their own hotspot in this instance.
  • Which mobile carriers work in our area? AT&T and Verizon. Sprint coverage can be spotty at times.
  • Do we allow tents on the RV sites? NO. RVs only on RV sites and tents only on tent sites.
  • Do we allow projector screens?  NO. 
  • Do we allow pets? Yes. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and cleaned up after, there will be a $50 fine for not picking up after your pet. See our breed restrictions under Click here for Policies . *WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS IN OUR PAVILION TENTS*
  • What are lock site fees? While we guarantee your chosen site type and amenities, our automated optimization system may change your site location. You can guarantee your chosen site for a $20.00 lock site fee.
  • Can we check-in early and/or check-out late? Yes, as long as the site is available, after 11am for early and til 12:30 for late and a $20 early/late fee will be added to your account.  Please contact the office first for availability.
  • What time is the latest we can check-in? Guests can check-in at anytime, however, please be respectful of the 9:30PM quiet time out of courtesy to the other guests around you. 
  • Why can’t we use Hwy 9 North from Santa Cruz? We do not recommend our guests use this route because the road is very narrow and winding. This route is not advised for rigs over 25′. Please travel to us via Highway 17. Click here for Directions
  • Can we have additional vehicles? Yes. Each reservation is allowed one RV and one vehicle per site. Additional vehicles are $20 per night and must be registered with the office and must park in overflow parking.  Only one car per site at a time.
  • Are we allowed to charge our electric vehicles? NO.
  • Do we allow fires? Yes. We allow wood burning, propane, pellets, camp stoves/grills etc. Guests are welcome to bring their own fire pit as long as it sits off the ground OR guests can rent one from the office for a one time fee of $10. Guests can also bring their own wood or purchase wood from the office for $12 per bundle. *There is a $500 fine for dumping ashes or burning wood on the ground. Please allow our maintenance crew to dump the ashes for you.*
  • Do we sell propane? No. We are 1.5 miles from downtown Felton where there are options for propane fill up and/or exchange.
  • Can we sleep in our vehicle? No. Guests are only allowed to sleep in a Manufactured RV or tent, depending on the site type reserved.
  • How far are we from Santa Cruz? We are 6 miles from downtown SC and local beaches. Click here to Visit Santa Cruz
  • How far are we from Henry Cowell State Park? The state park is located right across the river from us. The entry to the state park is 1 mile away, north on Highway 9. Click here to Visit Henry Cowell State Park
  • How far are we from Roaring Camp Railroads? The railroad is located right across the river from us. Guests can access the railroad through the state park entrance OR the main entrance to the railroad is located 2 miles away from us on Graham Hill Rd. Click here to Visit Roaring Camp Railroads
  • Can we cross the river? Yes, at your own risk. The river trail is located by site #22. During the peak season the San Lorenzo River is shallow enough to cross and access hiking/biking trails on the other side. Guests can also find swimming holes south of the park, depending on rainfall throughout the year.

  • What is the max length of stay? Peak Season= 14 days. Off Season= 21 days. We do offer a few sites during the winter season on a monthly basis. Please email manager@santacruzredwoodsrvresort.com for further inquiries.
